metal cuffs, smaller wrists (and my solution!)

These Celine cuffs were probably the "original" in inspiring the whole metal cuff trend that is going on right now. I love how they look.
There's just something about a pair of simple, symmetric metal cuffs, that seems to go with everything. They're industrial but can be worn with formal dresses, and can work as both an accent to your outfit but also blend in with what you're wearing. That makes no sense but its so true, I think you could probably just tattoo solid cuff bands to your wrist and they'll never clash with anything you wear.

I bought the silver cuffs from the Irvine Spectrum H&M in June, but I haven't worn them. They cover the back of my hands because they don't fit my wrists. Not a good look... but let's look at how nice they look on other people:

Not fair lol. Since my H&M cuffs are pretty much unwearable, I've been looking for some new ones. Proving a bit difficult because its always a "one-size-fits-all" thing, and websites don't  list measurements.

So my plan now is to buy and wear metal cuff blanks- the metal sheets that are cut and bent into cuffs and sold to jewelers to inset with jewels or whatever. Etsy sells them, and that's great because I could get the seller to just custom the measurements.
If that doesn't work I guess I can get the wristband tattoos I mentioned. I'm gonna go Google image that to see if it exists LOL but while I do that, you can check out some more metal cuff looks here.

They're really pretty, I think I'd like to get some cuff, I'd just be frightened that the metal would irritate my skin. x

Thanks for this collection of cuff inspirations. I am a huge fan, too. My wrists are small and much of what I've tried on don't quite fit the way I'd like... so thinking about making it myself. We'll see if I come up with anything.
